We are currently looking for a SQL Database Administrator to join our team of professionals in North Miami, Fl.

This Position Requires a High Degree of Responsibility.

Job Description:

• MS SQL administration – 2000/2005.
• Making database installations and upgrades of databases to new versions.
• Maintenance and monitoring of database systems for optimal performance and availability of databases.
• Design, test, and implement Disaster Recovery, Backup and Restore strategies, standards and scripts.
• Maintain and enforce corporate database security policies and controls for all database environments.
• Manage hardware requirements for production systems.
• Troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications to resolve all database issues, assist developers, network administration, and applications support staff in diagnosing and resolving database-related application problems.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Database servers.
• Create, monitor, and maintain stored procedures and DBA scripts.
• Develop scripts to optimally perform procedures, functions and notifications as part of the day to day management functions.

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in the field.
• Must have a very high degree of organization and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to pick up new technologies and business concepts quickly, and be proactive in identifying problems and offering suggestions for improvement.

Additional Skills a plus:

• Coding skills, including C++, C#, .NET, Java script, ColdFusion, HTML, Flex/Action script, and XML are a major plus.
